Is it OK to be overweight as a kid?

For far too many young people, that is a question that they ask themselves everyday.

It can be confusing.  On the one hand, some people will say that you should be you, and that everyone else should just accept you for who you are, not for what you look like.  On the other hand, other people will tell you that “image is everything.”  And, that your outward appearance is one of your most, if not the most, important asset.  Still, on another hand, some people will tell you that it’s not about image, it’s about health.  And that you should practice healthy lifestyles so that you can be a healthy and fit person.

So, who’s right?
